Service area · DeKalb County
Native-plant design, paver hardscape, drainage, irrigation, lighting, and recurring maintenance. Same crew, same designer, same quality on every Brookhaven project. Historic Brookhaven · Ashford Park · Drew Valley.
Brookhaven is bungalow + ranch territory. 1920s–50s housing stock on flat city lots with tight side-yard access and a fair amount of buried surprises in the soil. Most projects are foundation refresh, Belgard paver work, side-yard reclamation, and tree protection.
Itea
Itea virginica
Wet-or-dry tolerant, perfect for the inconsistent grading on old bungalow lots.
Foamflower
Tiarella cordifolia
Evergreen, deer-resistant native groundcover for the shade beds.
Native columbine
Aquilegia canadensis
Compact pollinator pick that fits the small-bed scale of historic Brookhaven.
River birch
Betula nigra 'Heritage'
Tolerates the wet pockets on Drew Valley lots better than the white birches people ask for.
Carolina jessamine
Gelsemium sempervirens
Evergreen vine for the chain-link side fences these lots all have.
Compacted clay with regular buried construction debris from the post-war boom.
Ashford Park and Drew Valley sit on lots that were graded with whatever was on hand in 1948. We routinely hit construction debris (concrete chunks, old brick, buried trash) when we dig. Plan for excavation surprises. We sift and haul on every project rather than burying issues for the next contractor to find.
Tight side-yard access
Most Historic Brookhaven lots have 30–40" side gates with brick columns. We size hardscape installs around the gate — usually a Dingo or wheelbarrow operation, no Bobcats.
Buried surprises
Old infill, debris, abandoned utilities, dead concrete pads. We pre-bid 5% contingency for excavation surprises on every Brookhaven hardscape project.
Historic Brookhaven design review
Historic Brookhaven Civic Association reviews front-yard hardscape and fence work. We submit the package and attend the meeting.
Foundation planting refresh
Most lots have 1950s-era boxwood + yew foundations that have aged out. We tear out and replace with native equivalents at scale.

Our process
One company. Three phases. Same designer at consult, same crew at install, same office calling to schedule the next mow. That’s how a yard you spent fifty thousand dollars on still looks like new five years later.
Design — on paper before a shovel goes in the ground
Free 90-minute consult on site. We listen, measure, photograph, then draft a scaled landscape plan with 3D renderings of the major hardscape. You see the patio before we pour the base.
Build — ICPI-certified, owner-supervised, one crew
Same five-person crew on every project, led by Marcus. Engineered base for every paver. No sub-contractors except licensed electrical and plumbing. Daily site cleanup, project manager on speed dial.
Maintain — the same people who built it keep it
Optional monthly plans starting at $120/mo. Whoever maintains your yard is the same person who designed the beds. Plant warranty extends through the first full year on a Greenline plan.
Homeowner voices
We don’t buy reviews and we don’t buy leads. These are Atlanta-metro homeowners whose yards we’ve put hands on in the last 90 days. Full Google reviews linked from each.
We had three landscapers quote our Buckhead backyard. Greenline was the only one who showed up with a sketchbook and asked what we actually wanted to *do* in the space. Three weeks later we have an outdoor room we use four nights a week.

Marcus designed our front yard in 2017 and Renee has maintained it since 2019. The yard still looks like the day it was installed — actually better, because the maples have filled in. That kind of continuity is hard to find.
Sandeep V.
Belgard paver patio and outdoor kitchen in Alpharetta. They pulled permits, coordinated electrical and gas, and finished on the day they said. The cost was the cost. No change orders, no surprises. We're getting a pool next year — Greenline gets the call.
