Greenline Field Notes
What each plan actually includes, what it does not, and which tier fits most Atlanta-area properties. The cheapest tier is usually the right answer.
Property maintenance pricing is one of the most opaque parts of the landscaping industry. Most companies quote a single per-visit number and then add charges that show up in the second-month invoice. Our four-tier plan ladder is published on the pricing page, every tier is itemized, and we will tell you which tier we think fits your property before we ever ask for a credit card. Here is what each tier actually does and where the boundaries are.
Mowing on a seven-day cycle from April through October, edging on the same cycle, blowing off walks and patios at the end of every visit. That is it. No fertilization, no weed control, no shrub work. For most quarter-acre suburban lots in Atlanta, this is the right tier — and we will tell you so, even though it is the lowest-margin plan we sell.
Essential is the right fit if your property has a healthy lawn already, you handle shrub trimming yourself, and you want a consistent weekly visit without the upsell pressure. About 60% of our recurring clients are on this tier and stay on it for years.
Everything in Essential, plus five-step fertilization and weed control through the season, two seasonal shrub-trimming visits (spring and fall), seasonal leaf cleanup, and mulch refresh in the spring. This tier fits properties where the lawn needs to be brought back from a thin or weedy baseline, or where you do not want to think about scheduling any of the seasonal work yourself.
Comprehensive is genuinely more expensive — about 80% more than Essential — and the math is honest: fertilization, mulch, and labor for shrub work are real costs. Where it pays back is in the lawn density itself. Within two seasons most properties on Comprehensive show measurable improvement in grass coverage and weed reduction.
Everything in Comprehensive, plus pruning and shaping work on ornamental trees, irrigation system audit and seasonal startup/shutdown, hand-watering of new plant installs, and quarterly walkthrough with our account manager. Estate is the right tier for properties with substantial ornamentals, mature trees that need care, or owners who travel and want a single point of contact for everything outdoor on the property.
We do not push Estate unless the property genuinely justifies it. About 8% of our recurring book is on this tier.
For estates with extensive ornamentals, formal gardens, large hardscape surfaces requiring routine cleaning and sealing, water features, lighting that needs seasonal adjustment, or any property where the maintenance program needs to be designed rather than picked from a menu. We quote Showcase only after a one-hour site walk. Pricing varies too widely to publish a representative number.
If you would like us to look at the property and recommend a tier honestly, the contact form routes to our account team. The recommendation is free and the visit takes about thirty minutes.
