Service area · Cobb County
Native-plant design, paver hardscape, drainage, irrigation, lighting, and recurring maintenance. Same crew, same designer, same quality on every Marietta project. East Cobb · West Cobb · Vinings.
Marietta is where we got our start — 82 yards since 2009. It’s where we learned the hard lessons about east-Cobb slope drainage, west-Cobb deer pressure, and which plants the Indian Hills and Sope Creek HOAs will and won’t approve. Most of our Marietta projects are full-lot redesigns on 1/3-to-1-acre suburban lots.
American beautyberry
Callicarpa americana
Deer-resistant, stunning fall berries, thrives in clay-loam.
Native azalea
Rhododendron canescens
Survives Cobb deer pressure where the imports get eaten to sticks every spring.
Inkberry holly
Ilex glabra
Evergreen, deer-resistant, the boxwood replacement for HOA neighborhoods.
Switchgrass
Panicum virgatum 'Northwind'
Vertical, deer-resistant, holds form through January — perfect for west-Cobb sun.
Native rhododendron
Rhododendron catawbiense
For the north-facing east-Cobb slopes where nothing else seems happy.
Mixed clay-loam with rocky pockets and chronic drainage issues on east-Cobb slopes.
East Cobb sits on weathered granite — you’ll hit rock about 2–3 feet down on most lots. West Cobb is heavier clay with better topsoil but worse drainage. We almost always do french-drain work, dry-creek beds, or downspout extensions before we touch a single plant. Bad drainage will destroy a $40k landscape in two years.
Deer pressure
Cobb County deer have completely changed what we’re willing to plant. Hostas, hydrangea macrophylla, daylilies, tulips — they’re all candy. We design with deer-resistant lists and use repellent rotations only as backup, not the primary defense.
Slope drainage
East-Cobb lots often slope toward the house. We regrade, install french drains, dry creek beds, and downspout extensions — usually $4k–$12k of drainage work on the front end of any major plant install.
HOA design review
Indian Hills, Sope Creek, and the Atlanta Country Club neighborhoods all have design boards. We handle the submission and design-review meeting.
Mature shade
Many east-Cobb lots have heavy pine + hardwood shade. We design with shade-loving native palettes, not the sun-loving plant lists most builders dropped in.

Our process
One company. Three phases. Same designer at consult, same crew at install, same office calling to schedule the next mow. That’s how a yard you spent fifty thousand dollars on still looks like new five years later.
Design — on paper before a shovel goes in the ground
Free 90-minute consult on site. We listen, measure, photograph, then draft a scaled landscape plan with 3D renderings of the major hardscape. You see the patio before we pour the base.
Build — ICPI-certified, owner-supervised, one crew
Same five-person crew on every project, led by Marcus. Engineered base for every paver. No sub-contractors except licensed electrical and plumbing. Daily site cleanup, project manager on speed dial.
Maintain — the same people who built it keep it
Optional monthly plans starting at $120/mo. Whoever maintains your yard is the same person who designed the beds. Plant warranty extends through the first full year on a Greenline plan.
Homeowner voices
We don’t buy reviews and we don’t buy leads. These are Atlanta-metro homeowners whose yards we’ve put hands on in the last 90 days. Full Google reviews linked from each.
We had three landscapers quote our Buckhead backyard. Greenline was the only one who showed up with a sketchbook and asked what we actually wanted to *do* in the space. Three weeks later we have an outdoor room we use four nights a week.

Marcus designed our front yard in 2017 and Renee has maintained it since 2019. The yard still looks like the day it was installed — actually better, because the maples have filled in. That kind of continuity is hard to find.
Sandeep V.
Belgard paver patio and outdoor kitchen in Alpharetta. They pulled permits, coordinated electrical and gas, and finished on the day they said. The cost was the cost. No change orders, no surprises. We're getting a pool next year — Greenline gets the call.
